Why does 5 card stud have more skill than hold 'em? Come on, you can't seriously tell me that Daniel Negreanu doesn't have skill in reading people which ends up making him a very winning player over the long haul?
Geez.. and it's ironic that you pick blackjack, because that's the one casino game that, at least in the most basic setups(*), the optimal player can have an advantage over the house.
(Obviously you play hold 'em against other players, and the house takes a rake.)

What are you talking about??? You can't affect what your hand is in stud.
It seems you have no idea what you are talking about, and what you actually don't like isn't Hold'em versus Stud, but limit versus no limit.
And hold'em, even the no limit variety, is far more than just bluffing.
If someone is an idiot and doesn't understand that the situations in which 'all-in' with 64o is the correct play aren't the norm and instead copies what they see on TV tournaments then they will be doing nothing but bluffing. Th

Even then there's no real change to you hand.
Unless you are bluffing, which is the thing you seem not to like, there is an optimal number of cards to draw given your hand and the previous action.
5-card draw also only has two rounds of betting and hence is less profitable if you have an advantage over your opponents.

Optimal play in blackjack does not have an advantage over the house. Unless by optimal you mean card counting and varying bet sizes accordingly - in which case it still doesn't have an advantage because you won't be allowed to play anyway.

Would my poker experience help to shine some light on this discussion? On a company outing we recently had a poker workshop: Texas Hold'em, of course. Some people there had poker experience, a few had even played in tournaments. It was my first time ever playing poker, but I won, defeating about 30 people.
Of course I don't have the experience to say how common something like this is, but my impression is that luck has quite a big impact on the game. (Though not being completely stupid helps too, I suppose.)

I made a kill once in Halo with an unmodified Rock Band drum kit. It was completely luck, though; all I could do was jump and shoot, not move in any way.

Try using a DDR dance mat. Playing Super Mario Bros on the Wii with one I made it to level 1-4. Then I decided that was really dumb.

It demands total focus, I've always wanted a dedicated wireless poker keyboard that supports multitabling.

Probably because regular drumsticks are already HID's ... granted, they usually generate a negative response, but they are definitely effective at the whole interfacing thing.
