Submission + - Google Releases Chrome 21 with Retina Display Support (paritynews.com)

hypnosec writes: Google has released yet another version of its highly popular web browser — Chrome 21, which brings with it a lot many new features including support for getUserMedia JavaScript API as well as Apple’s retina display. The JavaScript API – getUserMedia allows web applications to access the user’s webcam and microphone. Chrome 21 is going to provide this feature out of the box. Users will be asked to provide their consent as soon as a web application attempts to access a camera or microphone stream. Further, the user can also select which particular device to be used for audio and video. Another great feature that Chrome 21 is equipped with is its retina display compatibility. Google announced this back in June when it launched this as a feature under its developer channel build.
