whoever57 writes: Craig Thomas, often recognized as the inventor of the "techno-thriller" genre (more recently associated with writers such as Michael Crichton), died after suffering from leukaemia. He was the author of the "Firefox" story, later made into a movie by Clint Eastwood. He sold the movie rights for Firefox to an unnamed person, only discovering the identity of the buyer several years later.
