Submission + - EU bans Intel from providing free anti-virus (telegraph.co.uk)

An anonymous reader writes: The Telegraph says that the EU's antitrust department is wrong to rule that Intel should not bundle antivirus software with its motherboards. 'What consumers really want,' says the paper's Alex Singleton, 'is anti-virus software to be as invisible as possible, and if the nagging screens that pop up once a year demanding £30 or more for anti-virus renewal disappear, are customers really going to complain?'
