crimeandpunishment writes: Call it W-Mobile. Wal-Mart is introducing a cellphone plan....under its own name. The Wal-Mart Family Mobile service will be offered starting next week. The retail giant will offer unlimited calling and texting for $45 a month, and sell five phones, including a Motorola Cliq XT smart phone for $249. Wal-Mart's plan will run on T-Mobile USA's network, and even though it will undercut T-Mobile's own prices, that company says getting the Wal-Mart stamp on its name is a "tremendous endorsement".
