I think you'd be surprised how many different farm robots are actually out there. See & Spray is a popular one because it can reduce a farmer's annual pesticide bill by 90% and there are many similar examples, particularly for greenhouse-style tomato and strawberry farms (which cover many acres under a single greenhouse).

Farming robots have been promised for decades yet not a one is out there on any farm. We only see Mexicans picking fruit.
So far robots are more expensive than humans. You need a team of Stanford engineers to monitor and run the robot.
There hasn't been a new type of machine on the farm since grandpa got a combine following WWII.
