Submitted by
ForgedArtificer
ForgedArtificer writes "A recent eruption on the sun will be exposing Earth to the strongest radiation storm seen since 2005.

It is expected to hit Tuesday, Jan 24th, at a speed of 5 million mph (2000 kps) and will potentially disrupt communications and put high-flyers at risk of radiation exposure."
