Rise of the Low-Power Servers

Meanwhile, Mozilla has begun using SeaMicro servers powered by Intel Atom processors, which were brought online for the launch of Firefox 4. Both Tilera and SeaMicro are harnessing dozens of low-power processors in servers to help manage soaring power use in data centers.
