harrymcc writes "In the 1950s, IBM ran glossy ads that feel like they're set in a tech-world equivalent of Mad Men's Sterling Cooper. They're full of perky secretaries, rakish guys in suits, room-filling mainframes, and electric typewriters with miraculous features like return keys--not to mention the engineers with slide rules who IBM's "electronic calculators" will render obsolete. I've rounded up some of these wonderfully evocative, sometimes politically incorrect old ads."
